Roya works as an associate at NovioTax, specializing in tax and transfer pricing matters with a broad international focus. She brings a diverse background in international taxation, including a seven-year tenure as a lawyer and member of the Iranian Central Bar Association. Before shifting her career toward international business taxation, Roya lived in Iran, where she gained significant legal experience. Her practice as a lawyer focused on international trade law, fueled by her first master’s degree in that field. Additionally, corporate income tax was one of her favorite subjects.
Her transition into the field of international business taxation was catalyzed by completing a Master’s Degree in International Business Taxation at Tilburg University. Following her studies, Roya worked with TPA Amsterdam.
Aside from client work, Roya is enthusiastic about the latest international business taxation developments, such as Pillar II and ATADs.
Currently, Roya lives in Nijmegen, where she is an avid kickboxer and devotes most of her free time to enjoying various sports.
